Crankshaft D100.05.101sb3

Crankshaft D100.05.101sb3 (lower) On the 10D100 diesel engine there are two crankshafts - upper and lower, which serve to convert the reciprocating motion of the pistons into rotational motion. The crankshafts are located every 36 ° in accordance with the order of alternating flashes in the cylinders. From the crankshaft, through the gears and the torsion shaft, the mechanisms and units that ensure the operation of the diesel engine receive rotation. Both the lower and upper shafts are identical in their dimensions, as well as the design of the connecting rod and main journals. The upper crankshaft in its front part has a seat for fastening the gear 3 of the camshaft drive, and in the opposite part - a flange 4 for fastening the splined sleeve that transmits rotation to the second-stage air blower.
